Couple’s Full-Disclosure
I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon since 2012.
I assist people in processing their most painful experiences and relational challenges so they can experience freedom, healing, and wholeness.
Although I run my own practice in the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, I do not offer Clinical Counseling in this space. My passion for assisting couples with their marital needs of Full-Disclosure brings me to this space as a qualified facilitator.

MEN’S RECOVERY/EMPATHY REPAIR/ADDICTION COUNSELING
I am the Executive Director for 423 Communities and have been working with Men and their families in 423 Communities for the past 10 years. I know firsthand the heartbreaking experience of someone stuck in a lifelong addiction to pornography and sexual sin. I have spent the last 10 years working to get men out of the bonds of sexual addiction, to move towards the true, abundant life that is offered to us in Jesus. My passion is to see men find freedom from the patterns of addiction and be set free from the bonds of shame and addiction. My expertise in the field of recovery focuses on StoryWork, working through childhood trauma, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral repair, utilizing solutions focused work done inside a 423 community group. Pairing these modes of therapy with a deep desire to connect people with their identity in Christ through a fully integrated Biblical approach, provides for a deep introspective journey into progressive healing and lasting restoration.

PARENT SUPPORT/COUNSELING
I’m Barb, follower of Christ, pastor’s wife, and mom to four adult children. When one of my sons was fourteen, he confessed to watching pornography. My emotions spiraled. I experienced shock, anger, guilt, and shame. And I questioned my parenting skills. The stigma surrounding his behavior kept me from talking with others, so I suffered in silence. The pain and emotional turmoil left me feeling empty and alone. But I was still obligated to parent my child. I didn’t have the luxury of tending to my own wounds before caring for my son’s. He needed my help and unconditional love.
By God’s grace, over the next several years, my son broke free from his addiction, and my wounds healed. Our relationship was reconciled and continues to thrive. My son is my hero.
Through our journey, I learned a thing or two about pornography and its effects on children, families, and society. I’ve authored Sexpectations: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Healthy Relationships, founded HopefulMom.net, become a certified mental health coach, and been trained as a Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist. I talk with students and parents about risky behaviors and healthy relationships. Years ago, I was trained to disciple others and have counseled teens and adults for over twenty years. These experiences help me aid parents in understanding their emotional responses and discovering their next steps to healing and parenting their children.
I’d love to connect with you and offer you a virtual hug along with some practical advice and hope. You are not alone!
ASHLEY WARNEKING
I’m originally from Portland, Oregon, but for over a decade now, I’ve called Richardson, Texas, home. I’m a wife and mother of two, which means life is always full, often chaotic, and always an adventure! I love staying active, whether it’s chasing after my kids or carving out time for myself to stay healthy and grounded. My faith as a follower of Jesus deeply shapes who I am, and I believe in living a life rooted in love, grace, and purpose.
Mental health holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been through my share of hard seasons, and I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by life. I also believe in the power of resilience, authentic joy, and our body’s unique ability to heal.
As an avid learner, I’m constantly amazed at how God wired our minds. I love diving deep into how we’re designed to heal and grow, and I believe that no one is ever too far gone to experience real change. I’m here to listen, walk alongside you, and help you discover that resilience and transformation are absolutely possible.
Howdy! I’m a beloved son of God and husband to my amazing wife, Macy. Over the past three years, I’ve been blessed to work in recovery ministry with youth, college students, and adults, and I currently serve as the 423 NEXT coordinator. I’ve witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of pornography and sexual brokenness on people’s lives and am committed to providing hope, healing, and restoration to those affected by sexual brokenness.
I’ve personally seen how deeply impactful it can be to create a safe, vulnerable community, where students can find sexual wholeness, emotional health, and spiritual vitality through the power of Jesus Christ. It’s an honor to walk alongside students on their recovery journeys, remembering my own struggles with shame, isolation, and desperation caused by addiction to pornography, unhealthy sexual relationships, and people’s approval. It wasn’t until I experienced the transformative power of a Christ-centered community in college that I began to walk in the light, free from shame.
My hope and prayer for students is for them to not only overcome their addictive behaviors, but that they also gain the insights, practices, and emotional awareness to become the people God has created them to be. It is through the love of God and the presence of Jesus Christ, within a tight-knit community, that young people can truly flourish into their truest, most God-glorifying, and joy-filled selves.
