We are pleased and excited to present the incredible Alan Wheatley, who will be teaching us on the effective building of a relapse prevention plan.

When we begin looking at relapse in our own individual journeys, we have to understand that our patterns of relapse can be much more complicated than simply,

“I was tired, so I acted out”

In our daily lives, we experience hundreds, if not thousands, of various cues, triggers, and impressions on our mental, physical, and emotional state. These impressions, if connected to our pattern of relapse, can turn into a full-blown compulsive spiral if left unchecked. In order to avoid relapse it is imperative that you identify these impressions, take action, and not let them turn into triggers that lead towards relapse.

Alan will provide not only a comprehensive understanding of the idea of relapse prevention but a systematic method in which to define and implement a practical strategy and plan to effectively address relapse patterns in our lives.

This will be an amazing time to be equipped in the work of recovery for our own recovery journey, as well as for the health of our groups!

*This is a mandatory training for leaders in a 423 Community Group*
